Refund Policy

    1. Overview

    This policy explains when purchases on Deckmetric, operated by Shepard&Young, are refundable. It covers Premium subscriptions, one-off digital kits and downloads, and the Expert Deck Review. It works together with our Terms of Service. All refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method.

    2. Premium Subscriptions

    Premium subscriptions (monthly and annual) are refundable while unused:

    • Full refund: if you request it within 14 days of purchase and you have not used any premium grading (no premium analysis has been run on your account since the purchase).
    • No refund after use: once premium grading has been used, the subscription fee for the current period is non-refundable.
    • Cancel anytime: you can cancel from your Account page at any time. You keep premium access until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

    3. One-Off Kits and Digital Downloads

    One-off digital products (the Pitch Deck Audit Kit, Investor Outreach Kit, Round Logic Kit, and Founder Toolkit Bundle) are delivered instantly by email on payment. Because the full content is supplied immediately and cannot be returned, these purchases are non-refundable once delivered. Please review the product pages carefully before purchasing. If a delivery fails or a file is defective, contact us and we will make it right.

    4. Expert Deck Review

    The Expert Deck Review is a personal service. It is fully refundable until the review has started. Once our reviewer has begun working on your deck, the purchase becomes non-refundable because the service is being performed.

    5. How to Request a Refund

    Email hello@deckmetric.com from the address on your account with the word "Refund" in the subject line and the approximate purchase date. We review requests manually and reply within a few business days. Approved refunds are issued via Stripe to the original payment method; banks typically post them within 5 to 10 business days.

    6. EU and EEA Consumers: Right of Withdrawal

    If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. Here is how it applies to Deckmetric:

    • Services (Premium, Expert Review): the 14-day withdrawal right applies until the service has been used. If you ask us to begin performance within the withdrawal period and then withdraw, we may deduct a proportionate amount for what was already provided.
    • Instant digital content (kits and downloads): by completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun, as permitted by Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

    Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you hold under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
